Bluth-Picasso Family Endowed Scholarship

Bluth-Picasso Family Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created on December 5, 2019 by Irene Bluth, a parent, mother-in-law, and grandmother of alumni and a friend.

Irene grew up in San Mateo, where she and her husband raised their son, Richard. Richard attended Junipero Serra High School and then SCU, where he met his future wife, Anne, who, with Richard are alumnus of the class of 1979. Their son, Mark, graduated in 2014 and received a Presidential Award at commencement. Irene had a successful career as the Financial Director for the San Mateo Community College District. This gift expresses Irene and her family’s appreciation for their SCU education and the tenure of Michael Engh, S.J. as President of SCU from January 5, 2009 to June 30, 2019.

Impact
