Cristo Rey Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Cristo Rey Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on December 17, 2011 by Gerald L. DeNardo M.D. ’54 and Sally J. DeNardo M.D. Cristo Rey High School, Sacramento, is a college-preparatory school dedicated to preparing students for a better future. It is a partnership of the Sisters of Mercy, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the Society of Jesus and the community dedicated to transforming lives. Cristo Rey is a “school that works,” a place of faith, love, and inspiration; the students participate in work-study to offset their tuition. Graduates are persons of integrity, conscience, excellence and compassion, have learned the value of work and have a keen belief in the dignity and equality of all people.

Impact

The purpose of the Cristo Rey Endowed Scholarship Fund is to provide full or partial scholarships to full-time undergraduate students who are high school graduates of Cristo Rey High School, Sacramento.
