Marty Pasetta Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship

The Marty Pasetta Golden Circle Endowed Scholarship was established in May 2016 by Michael V. Guerra, the 2015-2016 Chair of the Board of Fellows, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Golden Circle Theatre Party and Marty Pasetta. Marty Pasetta pursued a career in the TV industry after attending SCU and is best known for his work on telecasts for multiple awards shows, including the Oscars, the Grammys, and the AFI Life Achievement Awards. He also directed the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour alone with game shows Wheel of Fortune and Love Connection. Marty played an integral part in helping attract and book many of the top performers for SCU’s Golden Circle Theatre Party. Marty passed away in 2015.
