The Healy Family Endowed Scholarship
The Healy Family Endowed Scholarship was established in 2015 by the Healy Family. Tim Healy is the Thomas J. Banna Chair of Electrical Engineering, has been a professor of Electrical Engineering for 48 years, co-founded the Latimer Energy Laboratory and directs the Latimer Energy Scholars Program. Mary Healy is a 1977 Arts alumna, Bruce Healy is a 1987 Mechanical Engineering alumna, and Margaret (Healy) Toomay is a 1983 Political Science alumna. The Healey Family has a strong legacy at SCU, as supporters of and advocates for the University.
Impact
The purpose of the Healy Family Endowed Scholarship is to provide support for undergraduate engineering transfer students with the highest financial need.
