The Michael R. Muscha Endowed Scholarship

Michael R. Muscha was an alumnus of the class of 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, 1991. Mike died on May 21, 2019, and this gift is from his estate. Mike was a proud alumnus who volunteered with the Engineering School Senior Design program, regularly attended basketball games, and generally was a booster of the University. Mike had a distinguished career with Lockheed Missiles and Space, much of which was highly classified and technical.

Mike was a great son, brother and brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. His passing was very sudden and unexpected. He was an incredibly generous person; certainly with money, but also with his time and prayers. Truly one of a kind. On his behalf and with a heavy heart, Mike’s family was very excited to make this gift in memory of Mike to Santa Clara through his estate, a university and community Mike loved and where he was such a proud alum.
