The Thorvald Endowed Scholarship was established in 1990 by Mr. Ted Thompson.
Impact
The purpose of the Thorvald Endowed Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduate and graduate students who wish to pursue studies in the following fields: physical or biological sciences, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or business, and whose families reside in the Bay Area.
