William J. and Marijane E. Adams, Jr. Endowed Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Fund
The William J. and Marijane E. Adams Jr. Endowed Mechanical Engineering Fund was established on October 19th, 1990 by Mr. and Mrs. William J. and Marijane E. Adams.
William J. Adams Jr. graduated with a mechanical engineering major in 1937 and would go on to work with General Electric Company in New York. He would marry Marijane in 1939, who attended SJSU at the time and was a well-established local musician and vocalist at the time. With William, she endowed funds for the Boy Scouts of America, Santa Clara County Council, Catholic Charities (Caritas Society), St. Francis of Assisi Church and The Tech Museum of Innovation (Dream Builders) Fund. Marijane enjoyed traveling, fishing and skiing with her husband.
