The Jovo Klaich and Beltran Paris Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Jovo Klaich and Beltran Paris Endowed Scholarship Fund, established on March 10, 2011, provides scholarship support to students chosen solely at the discretion of the President of the University or his delegate, while maintaining the two conditions that the Kirk A. Fay Trust requires: recipients must have been born in the USA and be of a rural background. Dr. Bayless defers to the President the definition of the word “rural”. There is a preference that recipients come first from Nevada, excluding Clark County, and if none, then form Idaho, Montana or Wyoming. Recipients should demonstrate good academic standing and financial need.
