DaRin Butz Foundation Scholarship Fund

• Work with Principal Gifts admin to identify student with Math department and determine timeline to notify student and report to foundation**

The DaRin Butz Foundation Scholarship Fund shall be used to establish a scholarship for female undergraduate’s mathematics and computer science students who are enrolled in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Santa Clara University. The scholarship recipient shall be a top female student, entering her sophomore through senior year, who has elected Mathematics or Computer Science as her course of study. Must have clear, demonstrated leadership through activities related to her academic field with above average grades. The scholarship recipients must be a United States citizen. The Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, or designee, shall determine the recipients and timing of the annual scholarship to be awarded, subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials.
