Expendable: Laureate International University Scholarship

Department awards. Provide tuition support to students studying at Santa Clara University’s East San Jose campus and pursing a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MATTC) with a Teaching Credential. Preference will be given to students that make a commitment in a school in East San Jose and/or a school that is comprised predominantly of underserved Latino students. If circumstances change at some future time which render the designated use of the Laureate International Universities Scholarship no longer appropriate and feasible, the Board shall use the income to further the objectives and purposes of Santa Clara University, giving consideration to the donor’s special interest in providing scholarships to students in the School of Education and Counseling Psychology committed to working in the Latino community.
