Thomas and Arline Bannan Merit Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established on December 21, 1995 by Arline and Thomas J. Bannan Foundation. This fund was created to provide academic merit scholarships, regardless of financial need, to students of high academic achievement who best exemplify the traditions of Santa Clara University. Students are selected on the basis of their academic performance. Freshmen with the very highest combined high school grade point averages and SAT scores are selected. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors chosen on the basis of their Santa Clara cumulative grade point averages as well as their leadership, integrity, and community service. The same students are selected from freshman year thru senior if they continue to meet all requirements.
