Becky Villarreal Endowed Scholarship Fund

Alumni Identifies: The Becky Villarreal Endowed Scholarship Fund was established on June 10, 2009 with donations from classmates of the Class of 1956. The criteria for this scholarship is the same as for the overall Alumni Family Scholarship program: “Fund primarily to provide assistance to undergraduate students whose family income status disqualifies them as Federal and State financial aid recipients, but who demonstrate a financial need. The funds should be utilized for sons and daughters of alumni with the Award Committee having the power to allocate some of the funds to exceptional non-alumni-related students. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA and make normal progress toward their degrees. Funds should be allocated between California residents and out-of-state students in a reasonable proportion, considering the composition of the Alumni population.”
