Established in 1993. National Jesuit Honor Society Scholarship, Academic excellence and service to the community. Departmental selection, Undergraduate recipients – any college. Recipients selected by the President for academic excellence and community service. Selection made Spring Quarter, announced after commencement for the upcoming academic year. It’s managed out of the Ignatian Center Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society, was founded at Marquette University in 1915. The Santa Clara chapter was installed in 1942 and there are chapters at 28 universities and colleges across the country. Each year new members are selected for their commitment to excellence in scholarship and service.
