Adaptec Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established on November 2, 1999 by Adaptec, Inc. to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students in the School of Engineering with preference given to students who have an interest in the interdisciplinary area of data storage technology. The recipient/s should be a well-rounded student who has demonstrated a capacity for creative thinking both in academic and co-curricular pursuits and an interest in the interdisciplinary area of data storage technology. First priority should be given to Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering majors but may be given to an outstanding Mechanical engineering major who embodies these traits. The selection of this student should not be based on financial need or academic performance.
