Expendable: Patrick Carney Scholarship Fund

Established on May 24, 2001. Scholarship for Juniors and Seniors that have declared Biology as their major and comes from a single parent home. Natural science majors could apply through the Biology Dept. This scholarship is named after Patick Carney, biology major in the Class of 97 he died of cancer on Oct 12, 1997. Recipient should be a dedicated student, no minimum GPA requirement, nor should GPA be a primary factor in the decision The person should be hard working, ideal isitic, nature loving and friendly to eveyone. Patrick was raised in a single parent family. It would be good idea to give the scholarship to someone who was raised by a single parent.
