Inouye Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Inouye Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 by Mr. Mamoru Inouye in memory of Hirokichi and Asa Inouye, Japanese pioneers who persevered against discriminatory measures in establishing a new life in the United States, and in tribute to the United States of America for recognizing and providing redress for the wrongful incarceration of Japanese-Americans during World War II. The scholarship is designated to provide financial assistance to deserving undergraduate students with a preference for those pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering.
